Master of IT Management
IT plays a critical role in day-to-day business and in the development of future services and products. Organisations expect from the TI manger to contribute to business targets, but is he or she equipped to play a part at strategic level? Is IT strategy aligned with business strategy and is cooperation demonstrable and, indeed, adequate?
This programme deals with this question and prepares present and future CIOs, IT directors, information managers and IT managers for the active roles required to align, direct and manage their various IT situations.
Six modules together with personal coaching to create IT leaders
Understand the strategic importance of good IT management and know how to use it innovatively in the own organisation. The curriculum balances business aspects with IT development; it is all about closing the gap between IT and business. It is also possible to participate in a selection of one or more of the individual modules. Participants can embark on the programme whenever they wish and start with the module of their choice.
IT Governance
- IT governance consists of leadership and organisational structures, to ensure that strategies and objectives for the organisation’s IT are sustained and extended.
Business & IT Architecture
- Architecture is a crucial instrument in supporting the alignment between business and IT. It is a management instrument to create a clear and consistent vision.
IT Financials & Decision Making
- This module provides an entrepreneurial view of the financial aspects of IT. The main issue is ‘How can IT contribute to overall business performance?'
Strategic Sourcing
- The leverage of third party resources, assets and skills to underpin business strategy and risk mitigation is examined.
IT Service Delivery Management
- Manage IT resources optimal on time and within budget in a responsible way. Enhance the reputation of IT and how to be cost-efficient.
